Jéroboam

JÉROBOAM is a parisian funk band, already known as Echoes Of, coming with an extensive live experience and a strong reputation between Paris and London. Besides their original and popular tributes to the American cites of 70-80’s funk, they also got noticed as a powerful backing band for Howard Johnson, Junior Giscombe and Kyoto Jazz Massive.

They are now working on their own original material as Jéroboam for Space Grapes Records (Danilo Plessow’s label). Their two first 12 inches “Freakshow / Mystic Beauty” (december 2022) and “Turn Down The Lights / Take Me To New York” (september 2023) sold 2500 copies each, displaying some of the best contemporary disco funk music ! A third one “Brexit Funk / Peckham Night” (september 2024) on Chuwanaga Records was a very special double side inspired by the late 70’s early 80’s Brit Funk genre, selling 1500 copies. In July 2025, Jéroboam came back on Space Grapes with “See The Light / In the Spirit” and plan a last EP in december.

2026 will be the turning point for the 12 piece band which has been touring a lot during the past 3 years, perfecting their show, testing and improving exclusive songs to create their own crossover sound. This exciting body of work will be recorded and featured on a full LP expected in 2026.
