Former “Prince & the NPG” vocalist LiV WARFIELD’s eagerly awaited new Rock-‘n-Soul album titled “THE EDGE” will be released worldwide on September 15th 2023 by the German label “Jazzline/Leopard”. The album will be preceded by the release of 3 singles:
- “Edge” was released on Friday June 9th
- “Maybe they’ll take your picture” will be released Friday August 4th
- “Stare” is scheduled for release around mid-September.
“The Edge” is LiV Warfield’s first album release since 2014, when she released “The Unexpected” for which Prince acted as Executive Producer. Following that release LiV performed at all the major “jazz festivals” including North Sea Jazz, Lugano Estival Jazz, Montreux Jazz, Nice Jazz, Pori Jazz, and Copenhagen Jazz, as well as some major “city center festivals” like the “Stockholm Culture Festival” and the “Blues ‘n Jazz Rallye” in Luxembourg, which were attended by thousands of people.
On July 6th LiV appeared on the American TV show “Good Morning America”. She gave a short interview, followed by a live performance of “Edge”, the 1st single of her upcoming new album.
This November LiV will be touring Europe to promote her new album. More dates to follow in the Spring/Summer of 2024.
