Biography

After completing a successful Swedish tour in October 2010, the Blues duo plans a comprehensive European Tour in late May – early June, as well as from mid-September to mid-October 2011.

Jimmy Z’s harmonica and saxophone plus Slidin’ Slim’s guitar is a winning combination. The duo’s two-week Swedish tour consisted of 10 sold-out performances throughout Sweden, including two music clinics. They also appeared at the renowned “Linköpings Jazz & Blues Festival.”

Jimmy Z said, “I toured Sweden in past with Rod Stewart and the Eurythmics, but never as part of a duo. Playing with Slidin’ Slim was great fun. The response to our recent tour was phenomenal. I look forward to returning in 2011 as Europeans have a great respect and admiration for the Blues. Teaching and performing at the music clinics was personally rewarding as well.”

“The tour with Jimmy Z was a highlight of my musical career,” said Slidin’ Slim. “To share the stage with such an amazing musician every night was an honor. It was a thrill to see how well our styles mixed and mind-blowing to witness the reactions from audiences at every gig. I can't wait to tour with him again.”
